Today, Egyptians Abroad for Democracy and the Egypt’s Hope Party mailed letters to the governments of Ethiopia, Saudi Arabia, United Arab Emirates, Cyprus, and Greece, via their embassies in Washington, D.C. These letters detail the ways in which each of these nations has taken advantage of Al-Sisi’s unlawful regime, a regime that is willing to unconstitutionally pilfer Egypt’s lands and resources. By sending these letters, we let these governments know that Egyptians worldwide are aware of their unjust profits and that there will be a reckoning once Egypt is ruled again by a democratically elected leader who abides by Egypt’s constitution.
